Registration to this forum is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed
below. If you agree to the terms, please check the 'I agree' checkbox and press the 'Register' button below.

Although the administrators and moderators of wetalk.tv (wttv) will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of wttv, nor Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

By agreeing to these rules, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-oriented, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws.

The owners of wttv reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason. Each message (threads, posts, blog entries, blog replies, etc) will become property of the wetalk.tv web site. We will not delete user accounts, user threads, posts, blog entries and/or blog replies or otherwise submitted content to our web site. Account cancellation will be in the form of changing the username and invalidate the registered email address, the account will not be deleted as they've become part of the wttv site.

In order to keep the forums running smoothly we have put a few rules in place, we expect you to follow them and respect staff and other members. If you have any problems with any of the rules please feel free to contact a staff member.

Forum Posting Rules

We thank all of you for being a part of this growing community. In order to keep the forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Staff Members.

General Rules:

We respect users input into debates and we appreciate there opinion, however we do not tolerate rudeness, insulting posts, racism, sexism and 'flame' posts.
Posting useless posts or topics is classed as spam, which isn't tolerated.
* Please wait a reasonable amount of time before bumping posts.
* Discussion of illegal activities such as digital media and software piracy and other intellectual property violations are not allowed.
* Each member is allowed one login account. Registering with multiple accounts is not allowed.
* We reserve the right to remove offensive posts without notice.
* Our forums are English. English only discussions please. Non-English will be removed.
* Also while these rules cover most common situations, they cannot anticipate everything. Consequently we reserve the right to take any actions we deem appropriate to ensure these forums are not disrupted or abused in any way.
* You cannot post any affiliate or referral links, or post anything asking for a referral. Such posts will be subject to removal.
* You cannot post advertisements or notices for contests.
* We also reserve the right to ban anyone who willfully violates the forum rules, as access to our forums are a privilege and not a right.

Any threads/posts of these types will be deleted.


Advertising Services and Solicitation

We do not allow people to post threads or to send private messages or emails to users here that advertise or solicit any products, services, funds or donations. Explicit advertising and solicitating in signatures is also prohibited.


Signatures

Links in signatures must follow these guidelines:

* Linking to a commercial product/service is fine, provided it is not a product or service that competes with a product or service offered by wetalk.tv
* Promotional text for a commercial product or service is ok, provided there are no price(s) of product(s) or service(s) listed.
* A link and promotional text for a site that is not commercial and does not contain product(s) and/or service(s) is allowed, provided the site is not sexual or does not violate wetalk.tv community standards. The staff shall be the sole arbitrator of what does and what does not violate community standards.

All signatures should not exceed the following size limits, and you can't have both text and images

* For text signatures: 4 lines normal size, 8 lines small size and up to 90 chars per line. Font sizes above 2 are not allowed. (Blank lines count as lines.)
* Do not use images with large text to bypass the previous item
* For images in signatures: 1 image up to 300 pixels wide, 125 pixels tall and 20k in size
* Animated images in a signature are not allowed


Avatars

Avatars that may be confused with official staff avatars are not allowed.

Privacy Policy

We respect the privacy of our visitors and registered members. Your privacy details will be stored with the best intention, in a secure way, away from public view, in a password protected database in either plain text or encrypted. We will not at any time disclose your privacy details to any third party (unless warranted by a court order), or when the web site gets sold and gets new ownership.

What's recorded? To ensure you have a smooth browsing experience your internet protocol (ip) address is stored in a temporary session while browsing (and not made public to guests, members or staff). Your IP is recorded once during your registration (and not made public to guests, members or staff). Each time you post a new thread, a post reply, a blog entry or a blog reply your IP is recorded (and not made public to guests, members or staff). Clarification: From the staff the administrators have the ability to look up your IP address for account management. We don't disclose your IP to our super moderators, moderators, editors. Besides your IP address your username is stored if you register, this username will be public as it is used to identify your posts or blog entries on the site. Your password is recorded, this is stored securely and hashed and not made public (not even to the site owners or admins). And your email address is stored during registration (and made public to our staff, but not our members). Your personal account profile details are made public, in the form of http://wetalk.tv/members/YOURNAME - you can control this public profile from your account settings.
